This is a project that approaches the field of design from an expressive intent and not from a problem-solving intent. It focuses more on finding forms through the study of the geometric solids that can satisfy the brief and, through that, show the potential of the subject and how it can give its inputs for everyday activities.

The final output of this project showcases the extent to which platonic solids can be used in the making and designing of furniture. It allows for a wholistic approach to furniture having many considerations like ergonomics, anthropometrics, functionality, structure and manufacturing process that are satisfied.

.

The future scope of this study is to implement it in a manufacturing unit, which is a setup based on the materials and methods of making certain designs. Keeping this in mind, the study of the platonic solids needs to be implemented in a manufacturing unit so as to better understand its execution process and, in turn, help make them more efficient.
