The Agariya Community is a salt farming community in the Little Rann of Kutch since generations and have been one of the most disadvantaged communities of Gujarat and the country. The main aim of the Laboratory and Activity Centre for Agariya Community would be to work for and facilitate alleviation of the existential and social condition of the Agariya community. In a larger context, the challenges faced by the agariya community is the lack of identity and connectivity. This project is a project of social responsibility. It aims at encouraging the community to develop skills and uplift them through knowledge and connectivity. The design aims at connecting and building relations.
