The project aimed at designing an artist retreat at Aalloa hills, Gujarat. Facilities like residences, workshops, a multi-functional space, kitchen and dining area and a caretaker's residence was supposed to be provided for about 11 artists and the caretaker's family of 4. A series of exercises helped come up with the design in a systematic manner taking into consideration the site along with the river, the landscape and the foliage.
