Looking at the capital of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, a well-planned city that is not functioning as it was planned, and hence, provides a fantastic opportunity to strategically densify. The idea of form and place-making were expected to be explored for this Urban Design Studio. Taking an administrative sector of the city, lying in the heart of the city, sparsely built, and considering a greenfield redevelopment for the same.  The project aims to illustrate the design process undertaken in developing the masterplan (I) and Public realm (II) as well as setting out the methods of intervention and bring out the transformation.
