Art Therapy Centre for Women | Relief Road, Ahmedabad

Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that involves the encouragement of free self-expression through creative works. In this program, Art therapy is proposed to be defined by 3 therapies: Visual therapy [painting & sketching], healing through making [embroidery works & pottery] and expressive therapy [dance, music & theatrics]. This method is expected to work in a community space of user groups from similar backgrounds or similar emotional traumas with the motive of “healing as a group”. PROGRAM BRIEF : To design a welcoming space that provides a platform for free expression of creative ideas & unaddressed human emotions that are resultants of women’s lifestyle & the burden of domestic responsibilities.
