Interlattice System

It is a joinery system composed of interlocking as a technique. It consists of modular components, where each component can further be modulated into smaller elements giving flexibility to be unique in terms of set parameters. Both physical and digital modelling is done to achieve the form. The material explored is MDF. The forms achieved as a result of constant and variable parameters were synclastic and anti-clastic in nature. Evaluation is done to analyse results as system is finally used to design a roofing system for site. Final form is achieved considering results of environmental fitness criteria using grasshopper plugins.
