Through the portfolio the understanding of Bapunagar existence that came into being, we get to know that industries are the core existence of this area, it gives rise to the development of a residential area and the changes that take s place, when the turbulence created in the life of the workers, due to the sudden shut down of the industries. As foundation of Bapunagar area is based on the arrival of industrial sector, which create huge employment opportunities to the labour class people and as these industries pay quite low, hence people from another state, who are facing employment problem starts migrating to the Bapunagar area but the industrial sector had not run uniformly and its sudden shutdown in the 1980s created a lot of turbulence in the life of these people , few of them got job opportunity, as diamond industries laid its foundation in the 1990s. In order to tackle this critical situation, people started small home-based industries.
