In this Portfolio, the transformation of Satellite area (in Ahmadabad city) into a highly commercial and mixed use corridor has been discussed. The event of importance nearby the precinct was the opening of the SG Highway. The Judges Bungalow Road emerged as the major connectivity from the 132 ft. Ring Road to the SG Highway. The rapid urbanisation along the highway impacted on the commercial growth of the Judges Bungalow Road. The Vibrant Gujarat Summit spearheaded the commercialisation of my precinct. The existing housing, consumption pattern and economic opportunities, infrastructural facilities and accessibility within the precinct has been discussed.
