As most of the cities in India are urbanizing rapidly, there is a lot of pressure in the city in terms of development.  As the land to be opened for development predominantly under private ownership, in order to provide infrastructure, some of this land needs to be taken under public domain, through mechanisms like land readjustment. To improve cities and make them livable, there’s a dire need to have appropriate planning & design of our cities. The studio aimed at developing a plan and regulations with a Town Planning Scheme for the greenfireld area of Dumas in Surat.
