Giving an impetus to agrarian economy of Rajkot

Agriculture is one of the most promising sector of employment in developing India. Rajkot is a major producer of various crops like groundnut, cotton, millet etc. Also, Rajkot has a strategic location. Its  connectivity through national and state highways and it has prominent connectivity to  Mundra & Nakhlavi port. There is a strong potential for agrarian economy to prosper in Rajkot but the challenge is the declination of workforce participation in primary sector. This project understands the challenges & potentials of Rajkot's primary (agrarian) economy and how it can give a boost by setting up an agro based infrastructure.
