Urban Mobility Plan 2037  is a strategic transportation plan for Rajkot city. Process of creation of UMP 2037 involved data collection with respect to land use,transport and socio-economic characteristics of the case study city. Based on the existing situation analysis (done with the help of Primary,secondary surveys and four stage modeling) a long term vision for the city and alternative development strategies have been proposed.This project includes 5 major proposals: 1) Road Network2) Public Transportation Systems3) Non Motorized Transportation Systems4) Freight Management5) Congestion in the core cityIts third proposal "Non- motorized transportation systems", has been detailed out in this portfolio.
