HVAC Lab

The course involved the study of HVAC principles through lectures, hands-on experiments and site visits. Concepts of air quality, power consumption, and building management system were also covered. Programming with Arduino Uno was done to design a thermistor with timekeeping functionality. The midterm assignment was to install an ERV unit and evaluate its performance. Lastly, the simulation module involved climate analysis, system sizing and system performance study concluding with life-cycle cost analysis.
