Integrated Construction Practices | Shivalik Shilp - II

The Studio is designed to simulate the process of Integrated Project Delivery and Global Collaboration using appropriate software tools. Integrated Construction Practices encompasses the concepts and principles of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Lean Construction, and Integrated and Collaborative practices of project delivery. In today’s age, where these concepts are starting to become the need-of-the-hour, the Construction Industry has an immediate requirement of professionals with a clear understanding of these principles, not just in terms of knowledge-of-use, but with a deeper understanding of the processes and methods that enable the practical implementation of these concepts for successful realisation of projects, offering real-time savings in cost and time and maximising value to the client, as well as all stakeholders involved. This focus on process-based learning and collaborative implementation forms the basis of the course.
