Through Passive Comfort lab course we learnt about climate analysis, basics of building physics, thermal comfort, and passive comfort techniques. Software like D-View, Climate consultant, design builder were introduced which assisted us in analysis and to understand these topics better. We were also familiarized with various instruments used for measurements needed for physical experimentation. By studying and experimenting a prototype of Solar Cooker, a new design of solar cooker was proposed and built. Learning simulations guided to evaluate the energy conservation measures required for designing a building model.
