The metal workshop gave a hands-on experience to students interested in learning metalcraft up close. They explored metal at two scales – the object & the structure. At the object scale, students individually explored various types of the material and common techniques associated with it, like – riveting, welding, cutting, casting and more. While at structure scale, students collectively learnt methods of mass production, pre-fabrication and assembly.
Participants were seen exploring and creating fun, playful forms with metal section, perforated metal sheet, and wood with metal, creating furniture prototypes, hence concluding the workshop.
