Relief Camp for Amreli Flood Victims

This project addresses the idea of community and the essentials for living and project deals with public housing in tight spaces. Idea of appropriate with considerations to both aspects of economics and notions of basic inhabitation was examined.

The project is set on the eastern side of the Ahmadabad, adjacent to the old city wall. A  hypothetical shed with a sloping roof spanning 10 meters with a length of 45 meters is to be inhabited by the 20 -25 families affected by the calamity.

The residents of this camp would have to pay for their electricity consumption and food, which could be provided at a subsidized rate by the government.
