Located in Rajkot on the historical grounds where once flourished a Race course stadium, this project is designed to revive the equestrian culture of Kathiawar.The Institute houses 100 horses in an interactive barn,a kilometer long paddock paradise for the horses to move freely,a racing track,a stadium for 1500 people,an institute teaching various equestrian sports,a public center and a hostel facility.The building takes into consideration the horses' lifestyle and thus tries to provide a natural environment for horses.The material palette for the institute is mainly earth construction including cob walls, bamboo roof for the barn and adobe bricks for the institute.
