The studio focused at the relationship of architecture to its urban context. Through a series of exercises, students were made to understand the approach of spatial response to design. This approach was then applied to a dense urban fabric in Pushkar, Rajasthan to obtain a design of an institutional building with Municipal office, Exhibition space, and Market for Local crafts as programme, at the same site as the present Municipal Office of Pushkar.
