The studio was focusing on exploring temporary architecture set in a unique cultural context, a traditional fair, where the structure has a recurring use - once every year. The programme was to design a floating restaurant in the lake of Tarnetar fair, Gujarat. As it was a temporary structure, It was designed as a modular system which can be easily mass-produced, assembled and dismantled with minimum damage to the material. The design process was focusing on deriving the modular system as well as floating mechanism and joineries.
