An abandoned built form of school is to be re-adapted as a youth center for Brethren Christian community of Ankleshwar, Gujarat.
All four built forms of this 90 yr old cluster are load bearing exposed brick masonry structure with colonial influences in proportioned form of arches, piers, moldings, colonnades and slopping roof.
This youth center will provide ‘after-school care- program and ‘co-curricular guidance’ program for children (age of 6-26 years) of Brethren s. These facilities will be provided as free basics by Brethren church-trust for their community members who belong to the major group of local industrial laborers.
