Improving cost recovery of water sector for BNP

The aim of the project is to identify different aspects of low cost recovery in the water sector of Bhuj Nagarpalika. The project further has been broken down to two components of enhancing revenues and reducing expenses. In order to enhance revenues, interventions have been proposed that include reducing NRW (non revenue water), improving billing and collection efficiency and restructuring tariffs. To reduce expenses, energy audit for pumping stations have been proposed as an intervention as the electricity expenses of BNP in the water sector accounts for the biggest cost component. Water Supply
