The aim of the project is to  evaluate  the feasibility of reusing waste water in parks.  The three options were compared, where the first option looked at how feasible it is  for Bhuj Nagar Palika to operate and maintain the plant while the second one tries to capture the feasibility from private operator (BOT-Built Operate Transfer)  and the third option evaluates the viability if establishment of waste water  treatment plant is partly funded by Nagar Palika and partly funded by private agency. Hence the idea of undertaking the project was to achieve the vision of sustainable sanitation in Bhuj city.
