The Regional Planning Studio aimed at delineation of Vadodara Metropolitan Region. Under the preliminary exercise, the Service Sector group was expected to study the present scenario of services that are provided in the study region and its contribution to the state. The study was completely based on the secondary data available from Directorate of statistics & economics, reports produces by CRISIL for VMC which was later on verified through site visit and stakeholder interactions.The final output was identification of high performing service sector talukas in the study region and there on provide strategies understanding the same.
