As the part of final year curriculum, the Regional Planning Studio aimed at delineation of Vadodara Metropolitan Region. Under the preliminary exercise, the Industries group was expected to study the present scenario of industries in the study region and its contribution to the state. The study was completely based on the secondary data available from Industries Commissionerate which was later on verified through site visit and stakeholder interactions.The final output was identification of high performing industrial talukas in the study region and there on provide strategies for the same.
