Heritage and Tourism

The main goal of this study was to study and understand existing heritage and tourism sector in Vadodara metropolitan region and identify potential areas by giving specific objectives and strategies. The study was started with looking into tourist places, tourist circuits, tourist inflow, and employment generation. Vadodara being the cultural capital of Gujarat is rich in its cultural and heritage because of the presence of heritage sites with UNESCO world heritage site in it’s nearby. The main aim was to identify potential tourist and heritage sites in order to integrate them with regional plan.
