The study was done as a part of regional planning lab and service sector was taken for detailed study of economy and employment in the Vadodara Metropolitan Region. The aim of the studio was to delineate a region, post analysing the impact of various factors on the study area. The potential areas in the region were studied based on the indicators like employment, investments and urban centres. MSME scenario was also considered as part of analysis. The objective of identifying the prime regions for service sector within the study area was fulfilled and a sectoral delineation was delivered.
