The study aim was to analyze Social Infrastructure from three different perspectives of Education, Health & Housing that was part of the Regional Planning Studio which aim at preparation for Vadodara Metropolitan Region. Methodology we followed was to analyze the provision of Primary Social Infrastructure Facilities based on the indicators chosen like that of accessibility to facility for Health and Education and compared it with guidelines (URDPFI & WHO) to identify the gap. While for Housing, Housing conditions were taken into consideration. For delineating a sectoral boundary the region identified was on basis of potential areas and the areas that can have an influence of metropolitan region and can develop further.
