The idea is to integrate affordable housing of various types with the nearby agricultural area, and to achieve a smooth transition, thus creating an interesting living as well as travelling experience for residents and passers-by.The overall site of 12 sq. km. has an RAH zone as an overlay with the designated Gamtal Extension areas. The area focused upon (pink overlay) for a detailed study of the built form falls along the agricultural zone. Focus has been laid on drafting the regulation for an affordable housing scenario along the entire stretch, along with mixed uses along the major spine.
