Area Planning Lab - Jamalpur ward

The Aim of the Area Planning Lab was to develop a Comprehensive Ward plan for Jamalpur. Several interventions have been proposed based on the requirement of the people. The City level Heritage plaza is proposed in the central area of the old city of Ahmedabad. This plaza will connect five important ASI and State level Heritage monuments. The Proposal is aimed at improving the physical environment around the Heritage monuments, reducing vehicular congestion, improving accessibility from the riverfront to the ward and linking the tangible and intangible heritage in one space.
