Area Planning Studio was aimed at developing an ward plan for Chandkheda & enhancing our elementary analytical, conceptual, and communication skills. Chandkheda is a newly added municipal ward under AMC and is located in the north-western part of Ahmedabad. Its strategic, availability of vacant land and good accessibility makes it economically and socially important.
Our study included detailed data collections, analysis and identification of issues, potential & challenges. As per vision envisaged for Chandkheda, we proposed a comprehensive plan covering all the components like land use, TOZ corridor development, street redesign, open spaces, housing ,infrastructure modifications & planning under public realm.
