Chandkheda has undeniably a good street network as well as public transport facilities. But even the best street networks come with a few flaws. Such is the case with Chandkheda where large block sizes and incomplete road stretches has created issues related to walkability and connectivity. One of the factors contributing to the issue of walkability is large blocks. Block size in Chandkheda ranges from 278 sq. m. to 967638 sq. m. Chandkheda has a considerably large proportion of land which is yet to be developed and whose block sizes have already been decided as per the TP schemes. Amongst these blocks, we have identified certain blocks where we have addressed these issues whilst promoting accessibility and connectivity.
