The main idea behind this exercise was to understand the dynamics of ward level planning in relation to itself as well as to the city of Ahmedabad. Through analyzing the present context of the ward issues such as missing linkages in the road network, pedestrian movement and conflict zones near activity areas were identified. Proposals with a vision of Naranpura after 20 years have been proposed to cater to the connectivity and functionality of the residences, commercial areas and activity centers of the ward.
