Naranpura - Ward Planning Exercise

Naranpura - one of the most liveable wards of Ahmedabad city has a ward of satisfied people. The ward seems to be doing well on all basic urban criteria. However, over the years trends have shown and the analysis backs that the ward may become favorable only to higher income groups. An effort has been made to cover up broad sectors of housing, transport and infrastructure and make a future vision. The ward planning aims to bring up a comprehensive proposal for the lesser privileged - the lower sections of socio economic pyramid, the pedestrians and the environment.
