Bapunagar (ward-26) is situated in the eastern zone of Ahmedabad. It is a vibrant and well connected ward with majority of residential land use. Bapunagar is predominantly a home for EWS and LIG people. The DP of the Ahmedabad  by AUDA for 2021 has proposed TOZ along BRTS corridor of Narol-Naroda road in Bapunagar. This might lead to gentrification in the future. Therefore, to prepare the ward against such future sufferings affordable housing is emphasized.Catering the people of Bapunagar by facilitating Affordable housing within the ward, near to their work place is explained in this project.
