The Area Planning Studio exercise was to prepare Comprehensive Ward Plan for Vasna ward, Ahmedabad. The methodology adopted was observing the site , HH survey , analyzing the data and to finally intervene the proposals . The vision was to promote local economy, community growth and livability within the ward. So to strengthen the livability factor it was necessary to address the supportive infrastructure in equitable manner linking present and future demands of the resident. After analyzing the issues and potential we framed our objectives for the compressive plan. Proposals were framed considering both the sustainability factor and environmental concerns.
