Passive Comfort Lab

Passive comfort lab is a comprehensive course that covers various concepts and practices, systems and strategies, simulation techniques, physical measurement and data comprehension. The lab contains study of various concepts of climate, building physics, various components of buildings and various passive comfort design techniques. Also, the lab gives a hands-on study of the above stated principles and techniques by adding their mathematical design calculations and using them for various case studies which allowed to understand the actual working of the techniques used. The design project of making a solar cooker helps to have a better understanding of the building physics principles studied. The last part of the lab consisting of simulations give the real time understanding of the various topics studied with respect to a designed building.
