Udaipur city today, runs on tourism and its mines ,there is development on various avenues to this accord especially in the hospitality sector. The idea is taken quite literally and buildings are made to either replicate the historic monuments or to stand out in its modernist and glass facades .
- idea to extend the built environment towards the lake making it a private experience -blocking the edges of the site from the road and all the other commercial edges around -containing the building towards the lake -the built environment is manoeuvered along the path of the lake -the intervention is placed on the site such that there is no change to the nature of the site. -the trees are retained and the built environment is placed around it , such that courts are formed between two built masses. - the built form opens up towards the lake , and forms paths that lead towards the lake
