INTERFACE: Inhabiting the eroding edge at Varoli Estuary

The project is a fishing terminal at an estuary which revisits the interaction of the built with the natural system. Coasts and estuaries have come under threat due to more frequent storm surges and consequent erosion. The loss of habitat and fish population has in turn led to pressure on fishing activities. This has further affected littoral societies and their livelihood. The project explores the negotiations in the tension between the built and its surroundings. The resultant is an interface between the built and the estuary.
