Water, in modern society, strives to be a lot of things that it used to be, a source of livelihood, a space of socio-cultural exchange, a space of liminality and a space of equity.

The proposal aims at solving site issues and re-establishing a lost relationship between people and water- 1. Physical and visual access, lack of shaded areas, the absence of activities, need for shutting the lower promenade. 2. Re-establishing the relationship between the river and the city, metaphorically, physically, visually, creating possibilities, opportunities, to activate the edge, forming spaces for retrospection, for introspection.
