The idea of the studio is to expose students to programme building, climate and context and the larger picture the Studio is placed in the Tall Building programme and tries to explore solutions that are architecturally rich, rather that structure or service driven. The studio programme tries to integrate residential and institutional scale in the studio. The site is a strip of land along a major road in Ahmedabad, which has a very mixed land use pattern.
