Our studio project focuses on understanding one of the oldest forms of urban settlement of Ahmedabad that is pol, and analyze issues and strive to improve its livability for the same. Though Ahmedabad has been declared as world heritage city this year, currently there is no management plan for it. Traffic congestion is a major problem in the walled city of Ahmedabad which in a way affects the livability of the people living there. So traffic issue has been analysed and an appropriate and practical proposals have been made to reduce the severity of the problem.
