A local area plan is to be prepared for the area. This whole area will be influenced by the proposals of TOD, CBD and Smart city. The major challenge is to make our site feasible to accommodate these proposals in the next 2 decades.Major issues that are dealt with are the terrible walkable environment in Usmanpura area, redevelopment of Wadaj slum and dull character of Sabarmati riverfront.The emphasis was on how the planning decisions will affect the human life in our area.Proposal that is signified here is the redevelopment of Ramapir No Tekro.
