Detailed analysis of the ground water resources for Ahmedabad city was conducted through primary and secondary data collection of public as well as private borewells  thereby arriving to conclusion of managing and conserving the rapidly depleting ground water resources in the city through utilization of the existing natural water bodies within the city in order to make Ahmedabad a water sensitive city.
