The project management in construction also requires applications of computer software which will help in modeling and scheduling of the project. The project taken up here is an IT Park, with a scope of project limited to a tower of 10 floors. The project was taken up to understand computer applications like Revit, NavisWorks & Primavera in construction. The studio work consisted of modeling of architectural, electrical and structural models in Revit, Scheduling in Primavera and simulation, clash detections in Navisworks. Using this software, there is saving of cost and time by identifying changes and risk beforehand.
