THE PROJECT INCLUDES THE STRUCTURAL DESIGN AND DETAILING OF THE B+G+2 COMMUNITY BUILDING AT BALOTRA. THE SPECIALTY OF THIS BUILDING IS THE USE OF SAND STONE AS A MASONRY UNITY AS OF ITS LOCATION AT RAJASTHAN. IT IS A BLEND OF AN R.C.C FRAME WITH STONE INFILLS. THE DESIGN AS DONE CONSIDERING ALL THE ASPECTS AND GUIDELINES PROVIDED BY THE INDIAN STANDERS FOR THE R.C.C.THE PROBABILITIES OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURES BEING SITUATED AROUND ALL THE SIDES OF THE BUILDING WAS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION HENCE THE DESIGN OF A SUITABLE STRAP FOUNDATION CONSIDERING THE PROXIMITY OF THE ADJACENT STRUCTURE IS DONE AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR THE POSSIBILITY.
