To design a system which individually or collectively responds to the dynamic nature of the common semi- open spaces, creating a playful experience through improved user interaction. ‘FUN’CTION being the core idea, the intention is to create something that is playful in its purpose. It is in itself a complete system allowing optimum space for the users to work and interact in which a work surface and a seat is combines to function as one. Also, parameters such as stacking, docking, possibility of tessellations are explored. The product highlights the 'social condition' of the piece and its potential as a meeting place that supports multiple functions.
