This studio required us to design an office for CEPT Outreach. CEPT Outreach is mainly responsible for all communication related activities including managing the University’s online platforms etc. The site being within a lot of colleges and the functioning of the outreach requiring a lot of continuous communication, the design required to be informal and youthful. Hence came the concept where the space has been divided into three parts : THINK , CREATE , SHOWCASE. No visual partitions have been added , the spaces have been divided using levels. The studio also demanded a secondary function of the space where that space would be used in the after office hours. The function chosen was Toastmaster’s Club which is again an informal club that helps one build their communication and leadership skills.
