Deceiving Woods

The Design idea is to make one think and visualise a space more than what they can just see. Every transition in the space will make them gradually think more about the experience than the appearance. As the composition changes, there is a change in the sense of place. The observer’s position, change in proportion, distant image on the mind compared to the real time experience and the composition patterns are the main factors that result in contrasting spaces. The visual image of the space captured in our mind juxtapose the experiential quality of the space. The way we respond to the space is in contrast with the visual response we conceive in our minds. The design concept is to create deceptive spaces throughout the journey.
