The site is defined by the fortwall, bridge and the fabric of old city. An unkempt land with the existinng building transforms into a plane of herb garden with courtyards in between to bring light,air and ventilation. The Terrace herb garden becomes the identity of the boulangerie acting as a release in the context of old city.
