As the city extends, peri-urbanization, creates development pressure on the fringes of city, leading to loss of agricultural land. Located in one such peri-urban setting on north-east edge of Ahmedabad, the site Hanspura find its context amidst a core agricultural setup. Therefore the proposed project is a sustainable green field development model designed to contain the dynamics of Urbanization. Also my individual focus as a part of master plan includes the design of a sustainable neighborhood that includes a mix of uses, higher density residential housing, pedestrian oriented public realm and are within a short walking distance within the neighborhood.
